Dystopian poster design

A small hobby project, this fictional propaganda poster is inspired by the dystopian world of the novel "1984", the Big Brother and the absurd, yet menacing real-life propaganda art from totalitarian regimes of the 20th century.
At the center of the design stands the image of a man menacingly gazing at the viewer, giving him a feeling of unease and the illusion of being watched by the man's piercing eyes. The image is overlayed by a halftone pattern and a field of red, outlining the shape of a thunderbolt, striking across the man's face.
The large text at the top line read's "Ние бдим!" ("We are on watch!"). Curve aligned text to the center right read "Ние ви виждаме, ние ви чуваме" ("We see you, we hear you"), followed by a final message in red inside the thunderbolt shape "Ние ви следим" ("We are watching you"). Bottom line text and logo depicts a fictional "Comitee of civil security".
